The OC Links Information and Referral Line provides telephone and online support for anyone seeking information or linkage to any of the Health Care Agency’s Behavioral Health Services. These services include children and adult mental health, alcohol and drug inpatient and outpatient, crisis programs, and prevention and early intervention services.
2-1-1 OC
2-1-1 Orange County runs a comprehensive information and referral system for Orange County, CA, including a resource database of health and human services and support, accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online and through our multi-lingual hotline, connecting people quickly and effectively to existing programs and disaster response information. Just dial 2-1-1. It is a central point for public information, including times of disaster to help those affected find recovery assistance.

Families and Communities Together (FaCT)
FaCT is a network of Family Resource Centers (FRCs) located throughout Orange County’s highest-risk communities providing essential family support services, education, and resources, close to home and when they need it most. Programs and services include: counseling, parenting education, family support services, domestic violence and child abuse, referrals to partners, and case management. Their website contains linkages to many available partners and services.

CHOC Children’s Hospital
CHOC serves children and teens with a wide variety of behavioral and mental health needs. They compiled a list of helpful resources to find additional mental health services in the community.
Our collective goal is to help children and teens in Orange County overcome the challenges of COVID-19 and other adversities that they may be experiencing.

National Alliance on Mental Illness
(NAMI) HelpLine – Call 800-950-NAMI (6264), send a text to 62640, or send an email to [email protected]. The NAMI HelpLine is available M-F, 7am – 7pm PT and is a free, nationwide peer-support service providing information, resource referrals and support to people living with a mental health conditions, their family members and caregivers, mental health providers and the public.
National Domestic Violence Hotline
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
Send a text or call 988 if you or someone you know is in crisis—whether they are considering suicide or not—please call the toll-free Lifeline at 988 to speak with a trained crisis counselor 24/7. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline connects you with a crisis center in the Lifeline network closest to your location. Your call will be answered by a trained crisis worker who will listen empathetically and without judgment. The crisis worker will work to ensure that you feel safe and help identify options and information about mental health services in your area. Your call is confidential and free.

Trans Lifeline
877.565. 8860 The 24/7 Trans Lifeline’s Hotline is a peer support phone service run by trans people for our trans and questioning peers.
ACEs Aware
The ACEs Aware initiative seeks to change and save lives by helping Medi-Cal providers understand the importance of screening for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and training them to respond with trauma-informed care. Led by the Office of the California Surgeon General and the Department of Health Care Services to give Medi-Cal providers training, clinical protocols, and payment for screening children and adults for ACEs. Detecting ACEs early and connecting patients to interventions, resources, and other support can improve the health and well-being of individuals and families.
